New Picture Books for Kids

Hey parents, grandparents, and kids check out these new picture books that are available on Sunday mornings (and for borrowing) at the kids resource table in the church hallway near the library.

I’m so excited about the new “Pictures of Gospel Grace” series, that will take lesser-known Old Testament stories and show how they point to Jesus. This first book, Dinner with the King, will help children discover how David’s grace to Mephibosheth is far surpassed by King Jesus’s gracious invitation for us to feast with Him in heaven.

A new find for me at the recent Gospel Coalition Women’s Conference were two books by Caroline Saunders. The Bible is filled with stories of water, from the mighty flood to the parting of the Red Sea, from the woman at the well to the calming of the storm. But how are all these stories related? What is God showing us through them? Dive into The Story of Water to discover what God is up to in these watery tales, and learn where to find the Living Water only He can give! Also available is The Story of Home.

And we now have the latest book in the favorite Tales that Tell the Truth series. The Man in the Tree and the Brand New Start gives kids a deeper understanding of what happened to Zacchaeus when he came down from that tree and how Jesus can change their hearts too.

If you want to purchase copies of these for yourself, all four titles can be found at 10 of Those.
