Women’s Discipleship

Christ Covenant’s Women’s Discipleship seeks to encourage and equip women to love God by knowing and obeying his word; to love each other by caring for individual needs and using our gifts to build up the church, and to minister together to serve the needs of the community around us.

We hope you will consider taking part in some of our specific women’s opportunities including Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, monthly prayer times, and occasional retreats and special events. For more information, contact Tina Miller.

Bible Studies

Tuesdays (9:15 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.) 
first and third Tuesdays January 6 through April 21
Turn Your Eyes, an 8-week study exploring fifteen psalms focused on key themes such as wisdom, thanksgiving, lament, and trust. We’ll see that the Psalms are more than ancient songs–they’re powerful prayers that will turn your eyes to Jesus in every season and circumstance of life. 
Books are $10 and are currently available at the church welcome desk.

Thursday morning (9:30)
Every other week beginning January 8 through May 14
Better. In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Explore familiar verses in context of the entire Bible, learning how to place your hope and faith in Christ alone.
