Osprey (old school parents raising engaged youth) is a network of parents committed to linking arms during the elementary years in order to help our children achieve a social media-free childhood from grade school to graduation. It’s something you do informally with your friends and family, building a “nest” within your own community. Founder Erin Napier says, “The goal is to simply give our kids the biggest possible network of friends who are social media-free by creating a family and home culture focused on real-world engagement without social media until they are mature enough to handle it. By forming nests when they’re little that stay together through high school, our kids won’t be ‘the only ones,’ and they just might change the culture.”
