This little book has been a huge blessing and help as I pray for our kids – my own and those around me in the church. Kathleen Neilson has turned Scriptures into beautiful prayers, modeling how to do pray a passage even it wasn’t written in that form.
31 prayers are given around such areas as faith, identity in Christ, love of the church, money matters, and wisdom in cyberspace. I find I am praying for a wider range of concerns instead of just “help my child at work or in parenting.”
There are three additional books in the series – Prayers of a Parent for young children, for teens, and for young adults. I’ll be picking up the other three as soon as I pray my way through this one!
